Jaipur

A true manifestation of vibrancy and magnificence, Jaipur is a reflection of the opulent Hindu legacy of Rajput kings.   1. Amber Fort

    Set amid rugged hills in the outskirts of Jaipur, Amber Fort was built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh I. This massive fort boasts of various prominent buildings like Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-e-Am, Diwan-e-Khas and Sukh Mandir.

  2. Hawa Mahal

    Perhaps the most well-known monument of Jaipur, the 5-storey Hawa Mahal is a fine example of Rajput architecture. Built by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799, this pyramidal palace has 953 windows with latticed balconies.

  3. City Palace

    Situated in the heart of Jaipur, the City Palace is a perfect blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Covering one-seventh area of the old city, this complex houses a Chandra Mahal that has been converted into a museum.

  4. Jantar Mantar

    Built in the 18th century, the Jantar Mantar is one of the largest astronomical observatories ever built. It exhibits the world's largest sundial - Samrat Yantra and other instruments that were used to probe the universe.

  5. Albert Hall Museum

    Dating back to the 19th century, the Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum in Rajasthan. Built in Indo-Sarcenic style, this museum has a rare collection of 19000 historic objects, along with an assortment of antiques.
