Located near the Mehrangarh Fort complex, Jaswant Thada is a 19th century cenotaph built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. This white marble structure exhibits some rare portraits of former Jodhpur rulers.
Rai-ka-Bag Palace was built in 1663 by Hadiji, the consort of Maharaja Jaswant Singh I. It used to be one of the favourite palaces of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, who mostly stayed in its octagonal bungalow.
The Umed Garden owes its existence and name to Maharaja Umed Singh of Jodhpur. This 82-acre garden encompasses verdant lawns, towering trees, seasonal flowers and fountains, along with a library, zoo and walk-in aviary.
Umaid Bhawan Palace, a luxury heritage hotel in Jodhpur, was constructed for H.H. Maharaja Umaid Singh, between 1928 and 1943. This palace houses a museum, which exhibits antique clocks, bob watches, hunting trophies, model aeroplanes and exquisite crockery, all belonging to the erstwhile royals.
